WHAT TO DO IF YOUR CHILD HAS CLOSE CONTACT WITH SOMEONE WITH COVID-19

NO student or employee of Melrose has tested positive for COVID-19 since school began on August 16th.  However, it is possible that your child may come in close contact with someone outside of school, particularly over a five day weekend.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOUR CHILD COMES IN CLOSE CONTACT?

Please notify the principal.  Your child must then stay home from school.  On day 6 they should take a PCR COVID-19 Test.  On day 8 they can return to school if the results of the test were negative and they are symptom free.  Bring your test results with you AND upload them to the daily pass.
